ApexLab measures how your body proportions change over time from a weekly photograph. It is not a medical device and it is not medical advice. It is for adults who want to track training, and nothing more than that.
You must be 18 or over. The app asks for your date of birth before the camera opens and will not continue without it.
Every scan is read three separate times and the readings are voted. You are shown the spread as well as the answer, so you can see how much to trust a number. Where the readings disagree too much, the app reports that instead of picking one.
It compares you to yourself. It does not score you, rank you, or compare you to anyone else. It does not estimate body fat, weight, or BMI from a photograph, because those cannot be measured that way honestly.
Photographs taken in different light, at a different distance, or in a different pose are not comparable, and the app says so rather than reporting a change that is really a change in conditions. Most weeks the honest answer is that nothing has changed.
Suggestions about training are exactly that — suggestions, based on what the photographs show. They are not a programme written by a coach who knows your history, your injuries, or your circumstances.
Nothing in ApexLab diagnoses, treats, or prevents anything. If you have a health condition, an injury, an eating disorder or are worried about one, or any concern about your body, speak to a doctor or another qualified professional. Do not use this app in place of that, and do not delay getting help because of something it showed you.
They are yours. They stay on your phone. We do not keep, publish, or share them, and taking a scan grants us no right to use your images for anything. When a photograph is measured it is sent to be analysed and not stored — the privacy policy sets out exactly who touches it.
Anything you choose to share — an image the app makes for you — is yours to post or not.
ApexLab is planned as free for the first month and then €5 per month. If you subscribe, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google, not by us. They take the payment, they issue receipts, and they handle refunds under their own policies — we never see your card details.
A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, and you cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings rather than in the app. The exact price, the billing period, and what happens when a free trial ends are shown on the purchase screen before you pay. If we ever change the price, you will be told before it applies to you.
Do not upload photographs of other people without their knowing agreement, do not use the app to harass or pressure anybody about their body, and do not try to break, scrape, or overload the service.
We will do our best to keep the app working and the measurements honest. We cannot promise it will always be available, that a given photograph will produce a measurement, or that the app will be free of faults. It is provided as it is.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under Spanish or EU law, and if any part of these terms is unenforceable the rest still stands.
You can stop using ApexLab whenever you like — delete the app and your photographs go with it. We may suspend access if these terms are being broken.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
